Dawn King, MD specializes in the treatment of male and female incontinence, kidney stones, voiding dysfunction, enlarged prostate (BPH), urinary tract infections (UTIs), overactive bladder, and bladder cancer. Her surgical practice includes vasectomy, slings for urinary incontinence, sacral nerve stimulation for incontinence (InterStim), urodynamics, ureteroscopy, cystoscopy, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) for stones, circumcision, and BPH surgery.
Dr. King is a member of the American Urological Association, the Idaho Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the Ada County Medical Society, and is a lifetime member of the Society of Women in Urology. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a founding member of the Idaho Urologic Institute and the Surgery Center of Idaho.
Originally from Montana, Dr. King earned a bachelor's degree at Montana State University prior to her medical training. She is married to an orthopedic surgeon and they have two children. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, singing, and outdoor activities such as running, skiing, biking, rafting, boating and camping.
