St. Luke's Children's Integrative Medicine Clinic

St. Luke’s Children’s Integrative Medicine Clinic promotes healthy lifestyles for children and families by addressing the full range of physical, emotional, behavioral, and environmental influences that affect a child’s health. Our multidisciplinary team, led by physicians, includes nutrition, physical and occupational therapy, and behavioral and social interventions. Additionally, patients and families have the opportunity to participate in a variety of community-based classes addressing nutrition and activity.

We see patients on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Referral is required.

    Biography

    Daniel P. Flynn, MD is medical director of St. Luke's Children's Endocrinology and is a member of the Pediatric Endocrine Society, the Endocrine Society, and the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes. Dr. Flynn is the principal investigator for numerous clinical research studies.

    Dr. Flynn is fellowship trained in pediatric diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

    Biography

    Mindy B. Gaddis, MD, FAAP earned bachelor's degrees in chemistry and psychology at the University of Utah. She is the medical director of St Luke's Children's Childhood Obesity Program. Dr. Gaddis job shares with Dr. Noreen Womack and is accepting established families only. She is married with two daughters, and two Labrador retrievers. Her hobbies include baking, knitting, cycling, trail running, and skiing.

    Biography

    Jane Krumm, LCSW is a mental health therapist and certified professional mediator. She specializes in caring for children and adolescents with ADHD, learning disabilities, and other special needs; and working with families in behavior management and children’s school success.

    Jane earned her bachelor's degree in psychology at Colorado State University and her master's degree in social work at the University of Denver.

    Biography

    Amy Walters, PhD is a clinical health psychologist and the director of Behavioral Health Services for St. Luke's Humphreys Diabetes Center. She works with patients to address emotional and behavioral factors that impact health and chronic disease. She also works with St. Luke's Children's Hospital as part of the Children's Integrative Medicine and pediatric pain management programs.

    Dr. Walters earned both her master's degree and her PhD from Utah State University and has over 20 years of experience working in clinical and community settings with adult and pediatric patients. She is a board member of the Idaho Psychological Association and serves as Idaho's public education coordinator to the American Psychological Association. She serves as the psycho-social director for Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs (Camp Hodia).
